When divorce is being asked for by one of the spouses, it would be processed without the other spouses consultancy nor the children. Through many divorces there are family members who tend to become involved and get affected differently differing on various demographic variables which include age, location, sex, number of family members included. For instance, male children see divorce as an opportunity for them to be able to be involved in antisocial behaviours. (Effects of Divorce on Children’s Education, 2015). It has been estimated that approximately in the United States of America that 40% to 50% of first time marriages will be divorced or separated. According to studies, the post divorce effect is that boys have a higher probability of having mental problems than girls do. As the researchers conclude is that the core problem of the health related findings is all linked back to “marital conflict”.

Effects of Divorce on Children’s Behaviour
In many divorce cases, there are custody battles that tend to take place effecting the children in a negative way. Custody battles may sometimes lead to a child throwing a tantrum, a child hitting other children such as his/her classmates and even bullying other children for having something that they have that he/she does not have. Divorced students are more likely to consume drugs, become violent, break rules, commit suicide, and tend to sometimes bully others for having something that the other child has that the child with divorce parents does not have in their lives.
