John F. Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States. He was assassinated on November 22, 1963 by Lee H. Oswald during a motorcade through Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas with his wife Jacqueline. “John F. Kennedy, Biography.com” portrays Kennedy as one of the greatest presidents of that era. Though JFK’s killer was discovered and then murdered, the greatest mystery of all is “why”? There are multiple conspiracies surrounding his death but to date, the mystery remains unsolved.

The CIA was displeased with Kennedy’s views so they recruited the Mafia for help to execute their plans for Fidel Castro’s murder. The Mafia also wanted Castro dead, and from their point of view, Kennedy needed to be assassinated before they followed through with their mission. On the other hand, Lyndon B. Johnson knew that Kennedy had only selected him to win the South’s vote. With news of his replacement circulating around the White House, Johnson must have felt threatened and wanted to save his own skin. What better way to achieve the stability in a high position of government than becoming the president? He couldn’t wait until Kennedy’s term was finished because he was bound to have replaced him by then. Johnson is definitely a strong contender for the murder of John F. Kennedy. Lastly, it very well could have been Khrushchev and some Soviet officers. They were probably very infuriated when they had to remove their missiles. Especially when the only reason why those intercontinental ballistic missiles were in Cuba is because the Soviets were being threatened by the United States military.
