John Watson’s depiction of human capabilities was inaccurate I believe. When Watson spoke he made his career and big money in the advertising industry by basically lying to people. I don't believe people become what they become exclusively because of what they experience. While I do believe experience can help to make someone desire or want something. This can also help to make someone want to be something but, this does not make the person completely it only assists. When Watson discussed the idea he had of cigarettes, for instance, an attractive picture would make people want to try some a certain type of cigarette. Each of the 6-early psychological schools tried to respond to psychosocial questions using a single approach while some did not attempt at all. None of the schools happened to be successful. The psychology field was still young during the mid-20th century; however, it was gaining diverse attention as well as popularity. Psychologists started studying mental behavior and processes from their personal specific points of view and interests. Such specific points of view started to become familiar perspectives I investigating particular sociological topics.Today, contemporary psychology must reflect a number of perspectives including neuroscience/biological, behavioral, cognitive, clinical, developmental, and individual personality among other perspectives. For instance, when investigating how infants learn a language, distinct perspectives, which can give information on how kids learn language from distinct viewpoints, are needed. In addition, as such perspectives become more particular, they appear to be interconnected with one another. This only means that it can be changing to study any human behavior or though topic from a single perspective. One must put into consideration the multifaceted influence of information emerging from each perspective. While the behavioral perspective contributes by informing the process of the brain structures, which influence behavior or if there are alterations in the brain function, and the extent to which genes influence behavior, given that the surroundings are manipulated, the biological perspective study and contribute information on how neurotransmitters and hormones affect behavior and thought. The clinical, developmental, social, cognitive and the rest will make their contributions towards
