They use olive oil mixed with camper oil to soothe the muscles and rub it on the affected areas for fast joint pain relief and comfort. When the patient 's knee is suffering, they make them lie with their faces down the mattress and focuses on massaging the muscles behind the knee. When it is the shoulder, they focus on the armpit and on the sides of the sides of the shoulder. When the pain is on the wrist and hand, they massage the upper forearm, the front and back part of the palms and the muscles surrounding the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints. The massage is not by pin-pointing the pressure but by distributing the right amount of pressure on all affected areas. This lessens the risk of doing more damage to the joint.

After the therapy, massagers usually remind their patients not to wet the newly massaged joints and muscles for 12 hours to avoid muscle spasms. The 12 hour time period is for the muscle fibers that were loosened to tighten again, making the muscles stronger than before as they recover. Joint pain therapies to be effective must be at least once a week, and must be incorporated within a "joint pain relief plan" that includes proper diet, exercise and supplement intake.

Joint pain relief is not impossible and healing is not far fetched. It just requires the correct practices, methods and professionals, which will serve as allies, to combat joint problems and set the path to healthier and stress free lives.
