I never would have expected something so serious to happen in a very short time. Basketball has been told to be a dangerous sport because it is so physical. I have played since third grade and haven’t stopped. I have not had an injury, due to a game or practice for basketball, throughout any of my playing years. Grateful is exactly what I was.
