Jonas described it as a feeling that was so strong in the room. “I liked the feeling of love” (Lawrey 119). He’s not at The Giver’s home, about to receive a memory of which he greatly enjoyed. The Giver said “... I have many other memories of families, and holidays, and happiness. Of love” (Lawrey 119). The Giver gave him the memory of love. He didn’t have the words to describe how he felt, but overall he enjoyed it. He’s now at the dinner table with his family. Later at the dinner table he asked his parents a question, ‘“Do you love me?”’ (Lawrey 120). They were a little surprised by this question, his father let out a little chuckle. They formally replied telling him about precision of language. Of course he had to say he “agreed”, but
