Jacksonland by Steve Inskeep is an interesting book that describes the lives of President Andrew Jackson and the Cherokee leader John Ross. It describes the connections between their lives and the demise of their relationship from fighting together to fighting each other. It uses historical accounts and letters to help describe what life was like during the rough times that unfolded during the early 1800s. Not only does Inskeep describe what makes these two men famous, but he also describes their lives before fame. This includes the actions that resulted in them becoming famous.
Over the course of the past two semesters I have been studying under Paul Johnston in an effort to better my skills as a recording engineer, mixing engineer and producer. From the beginning, I didn’t have a clear outcome for what I had hoped to accomplish by the end of the course. This was the source of some problems for me because there were some moments where I felt like I was flying blind. Starting down a path with no clear end is difficult after all. I didn’t have a set goal for myself other than learning all I could from Paul, which is a broad goal.
Analysis of Ordinary People In the movie, the Jarrett family is a rather normal family who has just lost one of their sons. After they lose Buck the family becomes very dysfunctional as Conrad, the other son, blames himself for his brothers death, and Beth, the mother, feels anger toward Conrad.
