Joseph Kabila Kabange is a Congolese statesman who has remained President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo ever since January 2001. Moreover, Joseph Desiree Mobutu occupied the role of military totalitarian as well as that of President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (which he later retitled Zaire in 1971) as of 1965 to 1997.
