Similarities and differences between the religions
Islam and Judaism, share a common heritage, from Abraham, and are very similar in many ways. However, there are also major differences between the religions.
The major similarity between these religions is that they are all monotheistic. This means that they believe in only one God and no others. Also, many people would say that they all believe in the same God. Since they are the only three major religions in the world that believe in monotheism, this may have an element of truth.

It can be a law court, a community centre and a place of worship. Jews on the other hand believe that Judaism is very much a religion of community which of course having been persecuted throughout the ages they needed that sense of togetherness. THe name itself means living a faith and this is very much reflected in the religion with practice throughout the day. Praying, and following the words of God.
The community sense shows why the religion centers around the synagogue. Most synagogues have a social hall for religious and nonreligious activities. The synagogue often functions as a sort of town hall where matters of importance to the community can be discussed.
In addition, the synagogue functions as a social welfare agency, collecting and dispensing money and other items for the aid of the poor and needy within the community. Allowing a sense of community to flourish as there is a large swathe of people leaving Judaism.

This sense of community is brilliant and helps to create a whole place of religious belief in districts and towns. With this they can feel safe in a community and have a feeling of togetherness which isn’t as easy to find in this new and modern world.
Although on the contrary it can create a feeling of hate due to the fact that in a Christian country like Britain another religion coming in and making a place their own and making it muslim or jewish instead of christianity can mean that anti-semitism and islamophobia can grow and develop.
This is very apparent in large cities where there is a great sense of community and there are a concentrated amount of muslims and jews but they are often discriminated against and have felt that they are alienated from the countries that they 're in.
