Societies have many organizations. These organizations are very diverse in form, members, and rules. Religion in a sense is an organization. Religious have a form or bases of ideology and set up. They also contain followers that will practice the faith, and with people involved, there must be rules in place to keep them in line and order. These rules or laws help a religion form an identity. An individual can look at a belief systems rules and understand what is important to that particular group. Rules can define moral obligations to the divine or to other followers of the religion. Buddhism and Judaism have some similar rules but they are also very different. The first real difference between the two is the number of rules that separate the two. Judaism contains more rules then Buddhism by far. However, Buddhist rules are generic and broader in idea unlike Judaism policies that tend to be more focused and specific in information.
