Some of the individuals you will meet in these blog posts have been with mk for a number of years, while others are just starting out. And while not directly related to accounting, her ability to navigate financial systems and sensitive matters did not go unnoticed by mk’s Accounting and Human Resources Manager, Wanda Veinotte. After being approached twice about the possibility of transferring to yet another department within mk, Julianne formally accepted the position as Accounting and Human Resource Assistant in January 2013. She has faithfully served in this position since then. Aside from her day-to-day tasks Julianne has taken on a number of special projects within the company – everything from foreign taxes to upgrading phone systems. Twice a year she acts as the corporate party planner and ensures a good time is had by all at the Summer Picnic and Holiday Party. Aptly nicknamed Eagle-Eyes, Julianne is constantly being tasked review and proof-read various documents as well.
