Michael Crichton was an American author best known for his adventurous thrillers including the book, Jurassic Park which also had a movie. It was one of the popular films in history. Michael Crichton was born on October 23rd, 1942 in the home town of Chicago. When he was young, his parents had four children including him. He was the oldest of them all. His father was a writer and journalist and his mother had exposed their family to various types of places including museums all around the world. Michael Crichton was one of the most successful people in terms of a writer because of his early career, legacy and how Jurassic Park relates to his life. When Michael was a child, his mother made their family explore different places such as Museums, Zoo’s and other places from around the world. His mother loved travelling and also wanted for her kids to do the same thing. Later on, Michael realized that he loved travelling also and explored variety of places just like his mother. This is where he started to have a passion for Sci-fi and adventure and created different books related to that theme including the main book and popular film, Jurassic Park. The novel Jurassic Park is mainly focused on adventure and Science where the authors in the novel travel to a theme park and explore the dinosaurs. It is also related to Science because they make up different dinosaurs that were extinct for million of years. This also relates to Michael Crichton’s life because he received a medical degree from the College of Harvard because Michael wanted to become a doctor.
