Abstract
Throughout this paper the reader will catch an understanding with different numbers of women, and minorities within the legal and justice system in the United States. By the end of the paper the researcher will make a point in whether or not the legal system is fair to all.

Are the U.S. Legal and Justice System Fair to Women, Minorities and All Culture Groups? The United States justice system was built many years ago on grounds that were a problem and what could be a problem in the future years. With that being said there are many things to take into consideration when it comes to women, men, and diverse cultures in the justice system. To begin there are different aspects as far as women are concerned compared to those of men. As well as how many months average will Americans get verse African American. It was shown that seventy-two percent of African Americans were incarcerated when convicted. Only sixty-one percent of Americans were incarcerated following a conviction. It shows that a maximum sentence imposed to an American is thirty-seven months. Meanwhile to an African American the number goes up to forty-two months. While in prison if the inmate violates in any fashion for any reason their sentence will go up as a form of punishment. It shows that for Americans an average is ninety-nine months. On the other hand it is 108 months for African American. There was also a DNA study that tested over 300 inmates and the outcome of that study showed that seventy percent of those tested were of color (Scott,
