According to the Commonwealth of Virginia and the Department of Health Professions, Kateresea L. Ford L.P.C. was convicted of a felony due to health care fraud. She was convicted of one count of health care fraud, and the forfeiture allegation of related property. This is a recent case, and she was convicted in July 2015. After being convicted, she was in jail for two months from July 2015 until September 2015, and is now on probation for three years. She is required to pay $81,000 in restitution, and since she was convicted of a felony her license was suspended.
Even in a persistent vegetative state a person still has fundamental rights under the state and federal constitution to refuse or direct the withdrawal of death prolonging procedures. The hospital fear of removing the feeding tube is justified under most state laws. Only in a few states it has been legalized for physician-assisted suicide. That is they allow doctors to assists patients to end their lives if the patient are to ill to do it by themself. In other states, doctors who assist their dying patient end their life of excoriating pain and suffering could be charged with murder.

Some students tend to forget their teachers when they are done with school. Melissa Hoebee, a teacher who currently teaches in Southern Middle School, shares about her life in teaching and life experiences from her childhood to today. She chose to be a teacher because she wanted to help people learn in school. These life experiences and events before in her childhood helped her become the teacher she is today. Her greatest inspiration was her grandmother.
Mary Maloney is a very loving and devoted house wife and mother-to-be. Though her dream of having the perfect American family was destroyed by the bewildering news of Patrick choosing another women over Mary and their child. Innocent is all Mary Maloney is, due to her indistinct state of mind caused by her heinous husband’s decision to desert her and her child while she is unable to control her emotions due to her being pregnant. Mary is not guilty of murder instead innocent due to diminished capacity.
In this paper, I will focus on Bonnie Steinbock’s claim on whether or not we should give equal moral consideration to species outside our own species group. I will first determine what moral concern means, according to Peter singer, and explain how he views the human treatment of animals. I will then outline Steinbock’s argument against Singer’s position and explain how her criticism is part of a much broader issue: that is moral concern. I will finally make my argument against Steinbock as well as address any issues she could possibly raise against my argument. Peter Singer believed that all species, whether it be human or non-human, deserve equal consideration of interests and quality of life.
And as a reader it is my job to identify the argument being made. One way I was able to assess an article and interpret it rhetorical appeals was in my Rhetorical Analysis.
When it comes to Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics, I believe that he has found a common thread in humanity in the fact that humans strive for the moderate in living virtuously. However, I would argue that the thread is varied enough to have no true worth in discerning the aspects of humanity. People have too different moralities and goals. Because Aristotle allows for these “local variations”, as Martha Nussbaum later terms in her defense of Aristotle, he is acknowledging that there cannot be an overarching analysis of humanity.
Argumentative Essay In “To Build a Fire,” the story of an unnamed man traveling along the Yukon Trail with a dog is told. Throughout the story, the man’s death is foreshadowed. The husky that he is traveling with has a natural instinct and understands, seemingly more than the man, that traveling the Yukon Trail in the freezing cold temperatures is extremely dangerous. The man soon learns how cold it is when he spits.
Through the analysis of the numerous arguments throughout the course, I was made aware of the detrimental effects logical fallacies have on an argument if left undetected or detected. Although the use of appeals was a review from high school, I initially had trouble distinguishing the appeals from each other.
In my argument essay, I tried to voice a strong opinion, but fell short. Although our process analysis essays and cover letters haven’t been graded yet, I believe that I portrayed a more confident tone and style in those than I did in my argument essay. While writing those particular essays, I focused more on meeting the requirements sufficiently and voicing my opinion effectively. I believe that gaining this kind of insight on essay-writing is a reflection of improvement in my writing skills and overall
