Katrina the Benevolent Twila was one of the greatest kingdoms of the Old World. Ruled by the kind-hearted Queen Skyla and brave King Aldrich, Twila was a comfortable, safe kingdom. Seeing as the citizens adored the bloodline of Queen Skyla and King Aldrich, they feared that no heir would be produced. After years of waiting, the citizens were blessed with the news that Queen Skyla was to have a baby. At midnight on the winter solstice, Princess Katrina was born an ordinary princess. However, she was gravely ill. Calling upon a witch, the parents sought to save her life. She gathered her supplies and stormed the castle. Knowing who she was immediately, the sorcerer began to throw gigantic spheres of fire toward her. Kat barely ducked underneath each one and sent a few of her own toward him. When it seemed that she could vanquish him, he stopped and marched toward her, arms raised as a show of peace. “Dear Princess Katrina. I have two guards downstairs in my dungeon, ready to sacrifice your parents- would you like to surrender in place of them?” He asked in a sickly sweet voice. How could she refuse? Her parents had to live, even if it meant a life in captivity. Two days later found Kat laying in her cell, trying to hold back her tears, for they were her weakness. Even as a child, her tears burned her skin, and though she had no scars, the pain was unbearable. A noise in a nearby cell roused her and she sat up curiously. Peering through the bars, she discovered something shocking. “Mother? Father?” Katrina whispered. The couple ran to the bars and began to cry for their daughter. Their freedom had not been granted. Red clouded her vision, and when she blinked away her anger, she saw that she had melted the magic bars. With one wave of her hand, she freed all of the prisoners. Using their talents, they would take back the kingdom. The group distracted the guards and the sorcerer’s allies while Kat confronted
