Have you ever believed in something fro a long time and then in just moments you change your mind? Well if you have you might have something in common with this man. His name is Lyndon Johnson but just call him Jhonson. He used to teach sixth and seventh grade in a segregated Mexican American school in Cotulla , TX where the children weren't very wealthy and the families had little money sometimes the children came to school with no breakfast (Doc. A) . After that he went to work at Sam Houston High School in Houston . I know what you're probably thinking this is boring i don't want to hear a life story about this man but you're wrong as a matter of fact this man is very interesting. In 1931 Johnson worked as a congress aide in Washington D.C. he really just wanted to be president. But later in 1937 Johnson was elected from the U.S. House of Representatives he stayed their for even years , during that time World War two came into place making him lieutenant commander of the United States Navy in the South Pacific .He was soon recalled by …show more content…

Let's see about Johnson again same question asked “Do you think the Johnson Administration is pushing integration too fast or not fast enough?” in February of 1964 Too fast - 30% Not fast enough - 15% and about right - 39% more people said about right then too fast . Then later on in April , 1964 the question “ Do you approve or disapprove of the way Lyndon Johnson is handling the civil rights problem?” 57% of the people asked said “approve” and only 21% said “disapprove” .
