There are reasons why people should or should not stay in school till they are 18. There are more good things about dropping out than bad. So why kids being able to drop out before 18 or not having to go to school till they are 18 is a good thing. Now here are some reasons why this is a good idea for America. Kids should allowed to dropout of school before the age of 18.
Have you ever had to do a chore for longer than you have wanted to? For example, taking out the trash until you 're 17 years old, or older. Well making a student stay committed to staying in school until age 18 can feel that way. Students should not have to stay in school until age 18 because there are different methods of lowering dropout rates, when you require a student to stay in school it can cause issues for teachers and other students, and some students need to dropout to help with family. Just as there are many other ways of making a kid do chores, or getting the trash taken out, there are many other ways to lower the dropout rates.
Many kids say they should get paid for chores. I think they shouldn 't get paid. I don 't get paid for chores and many other kids don 't either. I don 't care if I get paid for chores and some parents might not like it either. You shouldn 't get paid for chores because The kids parents provide a house for them and they try hard to support their lives Until they die.
But this does not mean that they should be given endless stacks of homework. By this, I mean when they are given a lot of homework for the next day, the student will gets upset and do not want to go to school because he doesn 't want punishment for what he couldn 't do. This is my personal opinion. Homework is a never-ending conflict at school, the students want less homework but the teachers have to give them the homework, so they can study at home. Lastly, I would say a student needs time to learn but also time to play and relax and to enjoy life with his family and
Many teachers use workbooks for their students in their classrooms and many schools only have enough funds for one copy of each workbook, for each student. There are also some schools that cannot afford to get more for the next school year or they have had to adopt a new book and workbook, that is not as resourceful as the previous books and workbooks. Many teachers also find old workbooks that are good resources for the students and want to use these in their classrooms, as well. This causes teachers to abuse copyright laws by making multiple copies for their students to use. According to Starr (2010), workbooks are copyright protected and should not be copied by anyone, unless they have permission by the author.
The average high school student spends about three and a half hours on homework. That’s not including honor, advanced placement, or advanced classes. There always have been many different opinions on the harm done by homework. The idea of homework was to give students a short refreshment and overview of what they learned that day. The problem is, homework given to students today does not fulfill its purpose.
What kind of kids like homework? Not a lot of kids. Homework should not be given by teachers, because, adults get angry when their work life goes into their personal life, so children should get the same respect. Another reason to prove my point is because 7 hours of school should be enough for teachers to teach anything. Although homework does teach your kid to work independently, having a family and a social life are important too.
Should kids be paid for chores? Do you get paid for your job, then why shouldn’t kids too? Your kids or future kids should be paid for their job. Do you want to be responsible for your child/future child’s struggle in life? Kids should be paid for chores because it helps them with life lessons, value, and last but not least it gives kids a better personality.
They are constantly judging with the classes more important so they can pick a subject to study at home. We cannot however eliminate homework because it gives students a chance to better understand the material been taught in class. We cannot expect students to master a subject without spending extra time beyond the classroom. They need to practice the material on their own so they have a better understanding of what their pros and cons. As far with parents saying homework ruining relationships, I find it sad.
Should Year 3 Children be given homework? Many people argue about whether or not Year 3 children should be given homework. Some people feel that children should be given homework because they need to learn at school and at home.
Over recent years, the debate has gotten more attention as to whether students should have homework as homework has seemed to increase. Students having homework does not benefit them in their academic skills and should be abolished. In countries like Japan and Denmark, the students don’t have much homework, but exceed the United States on international tests. A lot of tests have proven that homework does not help improve a student’s performance of skills.
A counter argument most adults may say homework will encourage the students to use time wisely. Students should know not to mess around or procrastinate in order to get things done. On the contrary side of that statement, students should have time to rest and have free time to keep a stable and healthy life. As well as students should live life while they are young and learn about adulthood later in
A reason that homework maybe necessary is coming from Brayden Mau, he said “Yes, because it helps kids learn on what they are doing and they can learn the material better.” One reason that homework may not be necessary is coming from Hayden Karpinski and Allen Leitner. Hayden said “No, We do everything in school that we need to know. Being at home is our own time, not theirs.” and Allen said “No, if you have questions you can 't ask a teacher.”
Everyone goes to school, everyone has homework. Homework has been a topic of interest for a very long time. Many students think that homework is not beneficial. However, without homework people wouldn’t remember what they learned in class. Homework gives kids the chance to prove what they have learned.
According to John Bishop, “School and homework show students the important life lessons, such as how to read and communicate with others, that they will use as an adult.” Students can learn how important planning, staying organized and taking action is just from doing homework. Homework gives the students an opportunity to learn how to work independently. Although I understand that assigning homework is not beneficial at times, I still believe that assigning homework can teach students many skills and even help teachers. Assigning homework to students is constructive, therefore teachers should assign homework because it allows students to gain responsibility, time-management, perseverance, self-esteem, homework also gives students a chance to review the class material, and it also helps teachers determine how well the lessons and materials are being understood by their students.
