King Hammurabi, after my long journey through Egypt I have come to tell you about the marvelous things I have witnessed and discovered in Egypt. I know exactly what I should start off with! I am first going to tell you about an amazing river called the Nile River. The Nile River is the longest river in the whole world! Also, going north of the Nile River is 4,000 miles long. When the Nile River floods it is mostly a good thing, this is because of that it gives the crops enough water to grow for a great food supply. The next thing I am going to tell you about Egypt is the mountains. It is a very good thing when water melts from the mountains because it also makes very rich soil and silt for the crops as well. Women have almost as much rights as the men do. One of the rights are that they are able to get a divorce and take the kids with her. Another big part of Egypt is the kids. No kid in Egypt is abandoned or left to live on there own and raise themselves. All of the kids in Egypt are very well cared for and cherished. Witch I felt was pleasing. King Hammurabi, something that I have been longing to tell you about Egypt is there religion. The religion in Egypt is somewhat simple yet very important. A big part of the religion in Egypt would have to be the afterlife. The afterlife is a place where you go after you die in Egypt, but there are certain rules you have to follow to get into the afterlife. One, you have to be a good person and do good deeds all the time before dying. Two, they will weigh your heart after you die. If you have a lite weight heart then that means you have been good and you are able to go into the afterlife. Only a few people do not make it into the afterlife. Something else I want to tell you is about mummification. Mummification in Egypt is almost close to simple. First, they take your organs out and put the organs into different jars. Then, they leave you out in the sun to dry. Finally, they wrap you up and put you in a tombstone. To sum up my trip to the marvelous place of Egypt.
