n an article published by E-Learning Magazine, authors Denise Knight and Noralyn Masselink urge students to have call for Netiquette, in other words, proper etiquette when communicating to professors via email. Knight and Masselink believe that there are several fundamental problems about students not showing respect for their teachers in emails today. What Knight and Masselink demonstrates about the article is that students today aren’t doing before or after school meetings, phone calls with their teachers, and more via email, which the students use to talk about their grades, explain about their absences, questions about their homework or classwork. Which they fail to drop by outside of school hours to do other things. According to both authors they talked about how some students are very careful with their emails while responding their professors. Some are so rude and they are always pressuring their professors with a lot of questions. I agree with the authors said, but as for other people they may not realized that this generation of students they are not paying attention in class which it cause them not to talk to their professor before or after class and that leaves them off to emailing them to talk to them with an unprofessional language meaning they would email their professor with an attitude you can say, for example they write about what the assignment was about or what they can do to get a better grade etc. The authors states that “It is proper Netiquette to provide positive reinforcement, feedback” (Knight and Masselink).
