This is a case study about a young man by the name of Korey Wise who was wrongly incarcerated in the Central Park Jogger case of 1989. Due to being the age of sixteen he was the only one out of the five boys wrongly accused to be sent to an adult prison. In this prison Korey was victim to many forms of abuse, physical and mental to name a few. He was found guilty despite the lack of evidence. None of the DNA samples or Semen matched up with Korey. Despite being compensated with a large sum of money for his time in prison, Korey's trauma cannot be erased. One moral ethical decision made by the police cost a boy nearly his life not once but countless times. Korey started a new life at the end of the show, however he will never again be the same. His relationship with his love and ex-girlfriend (girlfriend at the time of Central park incident) is severed forever, his lost time with his sister and mother it can never come back. Love, family, dignity Korey lost all of it, due to an immoral agenda. In fact the prosecutor at the end was still insisting on not letting these boys go, which goes to show how ethically messed up the police was during these times, humanity was non-existant. Similarly, most of the police staff excluding one police guard were involved and instigated the physical abuse against Korey. This is immoral because the police is meant to take care of these individuals not promote police abuse. The fact that he is so young and yet still these guards instruct other inmates to beat him up for their own personal views is disturbing. Korey almost loses his life after a vital attack from abusive inmates, it was a miracle he did not have life-sustaining injuries afterwards. Korey
