Kyler Character Analysis

My favorite character would have to be Kyler. The reason he’s my favorite is because he goes through a lot in his life and has to deal with so much. At times he may be a terrible person but deeper into the book you see that he has a reason for everything he did and that he really isn’t that bad of a person. There is always a reason for everything, and in this story, that especially works with Kyler. At the age of 12 his family was poor, so he wanted to find a way to help his family, so, he joined a gang. The gang sabotaged his family's car so that cause a car crash that lead to his parents death and his younger sister ended up in a coma. At first he portrayed a shy and smart character who was also athletic and popular. The deeper you get into the story the more you start to see his true colors and how instead of him being this sweet innocent boy he’s actually a crazy psychopath and his behavior is atrocious. One of the main reasons I dislike him the most is because he basically backstabs some of the people who cared about him the most by kidnapping them. Sterling has a brother named Dean, or D, who is a huge part of the gang maybe even the leader not really sure it didn’t make that part clear. When they landed they got into the car and rode over to a place where Sterling held them hostage for a couple house, but when they got out of the car, once Brynn got out he put a cloth over her mouth and nose. When she finally woke up she found Sterling patiently waiting there with a dagger and a camera in front of her recording live to a television that was in the same room that he put the other 3 so they could watch him cut her with his
