LSD is said to put one in an environment of optimal creativity during use. Several successful and high profile individuals have stated that LSD helped with their creativity. Many Silicon Valley employees stated they have used psychedelics. Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, was very open about his use of LSD in college and said psychedelics helped him get in touch with his creativity (“When”). According to the textbook, evidence shows there is no connection between taking LSD and an increase in creativity (Levinthal, p.202). Nonetheless, researchers at the Beckley Foundation are in the process of a study that involves LSD and creativity. In phase one of the study, researchers from the Beckley Foundation showed that psilocybin increased connectivity between brain networks. The Beckley Foundation has hopes that the LSD effects are similar to those of the psilocybin study (“This”). Research in the future possibly could provide more insight about LSD and creativity.
LSD is primarily introduced into the body orally. It can be inhaled, injected, and transdermally applied; however, it is not as common as orally (“Drugs”). It is

There are a few reasons as to why LSD won’t likely result in dependence. First of all, LSD causes the body to build up a tolerance to their effects faster than any other drug category. Due to this, people cannot consistently handle an LSD-induced high on a daily basis. Secondly, those seeking an easy high wouldn’t turn to LSD. Lastly, users do not seem to have any control while experiencing an LSD high and coming off LSD at will is improbable. Furthermore, LSD is very unpredictable making it undesirable for those seeking a drug to take that consistently offers the same effect every time it is taken (Levinthal, p. 201). In contrast to other drugs, LSD abuse is very
