in this experiment we want to see If using different beans for reproduction other then the mug bean, then they will produce less offspring. By using sertain method of division, replication, and messureing. Division alows us to seprate the different beans in to catagories, plates, and labeling for orginaztion. The method of messuring, after deviding the rest of beans in the plates, we measured the weight of each plate of the mug, black, and coffee beans. replicatin alow them to easly find there mate and replicate easier by using oppisite genders in each mug, black, and coffee beans plate.

Natural selection is the process in which nearby organisms well adapted to the environment to survive and to produce offspring. O’Briens novel The Things They Carried is a unique text because each chapter tells an individual story. The work also becomes misleading because the chapters are told from different viewpoints. Rather than O’Brien using a traditional flow of chronological order, he tells the stories of his comrades to appeal to the reader at different times in the book. The reader can also begin to question O'Brien's reliability and truthfulness because of his uncommon style. The purpose is O’Briens way to cope with his experience in the Vietnam War; he retouches each memory individually depicting the story of his tragic experience at war.
The mice are owls main food source. As the mice population increases and decreases so do the owl population. As the graph shows, it proves the mice increasing along with the owls. After the third generation, the mice start to decrease because the owls started increasing with the mice. Therefore, the mice and owls regulate off of one another’s population.

I conducted a lab that would investigate the question of whether or not camouflage favored natural selection. If an animal blended into its surroundings, I wanted to know if it could more effectively evade predators and survive as a species. I hypothesized that if I were a predatory bird hunting for mice in a field, then the mice that were camouflaged with their environment would be harder to find. The results did not support my hypothesis, as most of the mice (often more than 2/3) that had a similar appearance to the field they lived in were hunted, and did not escape predators. You can determine if a predatory bird would have more difficulty finding mice that were camouflaged with their environment.
Cartmill who was responsible for the hypothesis claimed the shift to life in the trees wasn't the most important factor to consider. However this hypothesis doesn't account for how primates evolved to better gather and eat fruit. Sussman's angiosperm radiation hypothesis accounts for just that. Their hypothesis puts emphasis on the gather of fruit not insects. Sussman explains the visual adaptations occurred because of the poor visibility in the forest and a necessity for being able to spot fruit in trees.

There has been a severe drought here in Norwell and it is causing decrease in the gray mice population. The brown mice are fitting in with their environment which is helping them survive.
Natural Selection Introduction: Natural Selection is the ability to survive and reproduce in a given environment. It is known due to evolution that has occurred over time and how mutation, migration, and genetic drift have changed. There is a variation in traits in animals, for example some birds have bigger beaks that can be used to feed on worms and bugs that are way underneath the river and lakes. Also there is a differential reproduction that occurs because not all animals can reproduce the same amount and there is a limit that the environment can support over time.

All of these four factors can show us how a species has changed over time. Individuals that win competitions are able to pass on their genes to future generations, which means they can pass their traits down. In the fruit loop activity, we found that the fit and fast individuals were more likely to survive.
