In the play, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar by William Shakespere, Julius Caesar is the mighty ruler of Rome who has won many wars, and has brought wealth to the country. But, a group of conspirators including Brutus believe he is misusing his power and needs to be stopped. So, throughout the story the group begins to plan his murder, as well as acting normal in society to avoid suspicion among them. Although Caesar was warned by those around him, he was stabbed to death by Brutus’s group when he left his house. Although some people believe Caesar was wrongfully removed from power and he had a lot to offer, he has proven time and time again that he is too irresponsible to be such an influential leader. Julius was rightfully removed from office because he was inflexible, overpowerful, and overconfident. She received dreams throughout the night predicting his death, but, Caesar insists that he “Shall forth.” and that “The things that threatened me-Ne’er looked but on my back; when they shall see-The face of Caesar, they are vanished”. Caesar has fully convinced himself at this point that everyone fears him and he fears nothing, including death.
