He wanted to see some of Milan’s prized possessions and was very impressed with The Last Supper (Ripley 26). He wanted it to be moved to France but the painting however could not be taken to France (Ripley 26). This is just an example of how inspiring Leonardo’s paintings are, especially The Last Super. This style of painting was not very successful. The painting quality got worse over time. The paint began to fade away. It was a very remarkable design where the blend made it very popular.
