Lord of the Flies by William Golding is more than a novel about a group of boys who crashed on an island. The boys were free from rules, society and adults which would seem like paradise, but it quickly turns into a fight for survival. The boys face a great challenge of remaining civilized without supervision or guidelines. The novel centred around them slows dropping into the pit of evil. Light vs darkness which play a big role in this novel. Jack one of the main characters will show us his innocence and how he turned into a savage or “The Dark One.” Jacks group in lord of the flies represents the dark content of the boys which draws them into the interior of the island whereas the more "civilized"/Ralph’s group huddle together for security
