Both Lincoln and 12 Years of Slave are great moves. Yet, there are some similarities and differences. There are quite a bit of difference in each one. There is different setting within the two films. There is also different characters traits in both of the films. Then finally, the director's craft or style of the film. Those are only some of the differences in the film and there is plenty more to do but, this will do. Let's start with setting first.
The setting in the two films might be in the same time period but, they are not in the same setting. 12 Years a Slave setting was on a first in the city because the black guy was a free man but, these white guys take him and he is now a slave on a huge farm. The setting of lincoln is mostly in the in his office that he discussed his new amendment he is going to pass but, it was also in the city as well. These two settings as you can see are way different. They might be in the same time period but, they are in different setting.

In Lincoln, Lincoln has this ur not going to stop be attitude and Lincoln makes up a lot of jokes to say to people to he is a funny man. Then in 12 Years a Slave, the main character Solomon, had this attitude like u do not mess with me and did not play no games with no one. Lincoln was more of a chill guy but, can get angry when he needs to. Solomon on the other hand, was just angry all of the time because he was not supposed to be in slavery. Those are two completely character
