To begin, the first character I will be discussing is Pete Gordon. Gordon is a serial killer, who was given the name of “Lipstick Killer” because after his victims were dead he wrote the letters “WCF” in lipstick or blood. Pete’s victims were killed in two different shopping center parking garages, such as Macy’s parking lot, and the parking garage at Union Square. The commonalities between Pete’s victims include: they are mothers walking back to their cars with shopping carts and they have one young child with them. Like most serial killers, Pete is very smart. He chose to kill his victims when no one was watching, in a placid way, and by asking them a favor. In all three situations, the women attempted to give Pete either money or their phone, …show more content…
Wells is a woman who steals jewelry from famous people. Because Sarah is only a schoolteacher, she finds the need to steal jewelry to get more money. Each of her robberies occurred while the wealthy people were eating dinner in a large group. Sarah began by climbing up the wall of the house and into the bedroom window. She set a time limit on the amount of time she had to find and get the jewelry. Committing a crime could be as stressful as losing a job(simile). Making one mistake and getting caught leads to many years in jail along with fees. While she was at the Dowling’s house this is how she obtained the jewelry: “Sarah moved quickly. She pulled the box from the wall, set it down on the bed, and flipped back the lid. Then she opened the empty duffel bag she’d brought for the loot and began to transfer small bulging envelopes and boxes out of the safe” (Patterson 149). The night she robbed the Dowling’s, Marcus shot his wife. The detectives believed that Sarah Wells was the one who did it. Sarah knew that what she did was wrong; therefore, she felt the need to tell the police so that they knew it wasn’t her. She used a payphone to call them so she wouldn’t get tracked. They believed her fully and concluded that Marcus was trying to make them misconstrue him. The song that would fit Sarah’s personality is the song Sneaky Freak by Imelda May. The lyrics go like this: “Cause I’m a sneaky freaky, yes I’m sneaky freaky! …show more content…
Lindsay works an incredibly hard job with uncertain hours; some days she works a twenty-four hour shift. Lindsay’s fiancé, Joe, has always been there for her, even during the stressful times. Every opportunity that she gets she wants to spend time with Joe. One day she evaluated their relationship: “I loved this man. Our lives were finally blending in a delicious and balanced way” (Patterson 88). She clearly couldn’t wait for them to unite in marriage. After Lindsay dropped the two million dollars over the Golden Gate Bridge, she called the police station. Her squad showed up along with Joe. She was so surprised to see him and delighted that he came. Lindsay was ordered to go home, shower, and then report back to work to evaluate Pete Gordon. Instead, with Joe’s integrity she did not report back to work until the morning. Along with that day, Lindsay barely had enough sleep to keep her functioning. Joe politely told her that it would be best if she stayed home to rest, because she was completely wore out. The song that fits Lindsay’s personality the best is the song Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran. The lyrics go like this: “I fall in love with you every single day... Maybe we found love right where we are.” These lyrics fit her personality the best because Lindsay has a very loving and caring side to her. No matter how busy she is,
