In order to start a successful business, a good leader needs to be present and in charge. A strong leader will influence his workers to be successful and achieve goals. The founder and chairman of Quicken Loans, Dan Gilbert, has proven such qualities with his strong work ethic, which can be seen through the growth and success of Quicken Loans. Gilbert is not alone in this business; he has partners such as Bill Emerson, the chief executive officer, and Heather Lovier, the senior vice president of client operations. Gilbert and his staff not only know how to operate a successful business, but know how to form a team with their employees and how to create a fun work atmosphere, whether it’s tossing a football around during the day or doing group exercise activities. Good leadership is not only focused when employees are on the job, it is also focused on when employees give back to the community.
