First, appeal to vanity is a form of the indirect approach, and it often involves linking the love, admiration, or approval of the crowd with some famous figure who is loved, admired, or approved of. More and more, I am seeing children, often toddlers, who are already obese and may be plagued by chronic disease and shortened life spans.” The author failed to mention that low-income family, may have caused obese to the child because the family do not have sufficient amount of money to buy healthy food. Also, other factors that may cause lead to the child obesity or chronic disease could be genetic disease that may have caused the child to gain weight. In addition, bullying, racial discrimination, or bodying shaming, may have lead the child to depression, which lead to obesity.
