Leaders can become savages. A leader can be a good, civil person, but due to their actions and behavior, they may end up becoming savage. Jack crashed into an island, hoping to be rescued. In Lord of the Flies by William Golding, Jack lives on an island, and while on the island, he descends into savagery. Jack regularly acts against his moral foundation and descends into savagery.
Lord of the Flies is a book based around boys that have been marooned on a small island. Eventually, these children resort to drastic measures to ensure their survival. The Stanford prison experiment was based on men getting sent to prison, and it highly resembled the events that took place in the novel Lord of the Flies. When you look at someone do you look and see a good kid? Do you ever really notice that they are savage on the inside. In the lord of the flies it shows that The children’s efforts to build an orderly society through a rules-based government falls apart. A basic theme of the novel is that human beings are basically violent and savage, which makes civic order impossible to sustain.the boys acting different because there are no rules/civic order.the boys were so obsessed with killing a pig it made them more savage.they really weren't doing anything they were messing around and never took anything seriously there is no way they would be able to stay non-savage and they didn’t.
