The lost boys faced many hazards and physical challenges during their long and hard journey. Many of the lost boys fled their homes during war and became diaspora. From fleeing from their homelands to the camps in Kenya the lost boys faced many challenges. Their biggest challenges were food, water, and walking. They had to walk over hundreds of miles to get to these camps. Along the way many of the lost boys died because of no food or water source. Most of the times the boys would just eat plants or scraps of food they found along the way, and for water they drank out of rivers and ponds that they found barely at all.
