Lunar Chronicles: A Literary Analysis

333 Words2 Pages
Winter was the last book in the Lunar Chronicles and a very good novel; I really liked the overall story and series. In the beginning I was skeptic of starting “Cinder”, the first book, because I was weary that the fairy-tale nature of these books would be too cliché. However, I was pleasantly surprised, Winter kept my attention and had a more complex story line than I had expected. It was a mixture of fantasy and sci-fi, with just a hint of romance. Although the story itself is unrealistic, it didn’t seem out of the ordinary and fit well with the world the story took place. Winter is classified as a young adult novel, aging 12 and up. For myself, it wasn’t difficult to finish, but the book did switch point of view often and is over 800 pages.
