In the story of Giovanni and Lusanna Love and Marriage in Renaissance Florence written and researched by Gene Brucker, Lusanna di Benneto a widow of the artisanal class, has taken her alleged husband Giovanni to court, due to their marriage’s circumstance. The story starts out with Lusanna being married to another man named Andrea Nucci who eventually grew interest in the wealthy young Giovanni who came from a noble social class. As time wore on they eventually fell in love with one another and enjoyed all of its pleasures for a couple of years. It was later claimed by Lusanna that Giovanni had promised to marry her in the event of her husband’s death.
The year, was 1350. Things in Florence Italy began to change. People began to become more and more self-sufficient, and started to become educated. The population was made up of about 85% serfs. But, some of the freed srefs began to migrate and pick up activities such as trade.
It is a love based tragic story which tells about a young woman whose family has planned “to coax her by degrees / some high noble and his olive trees"(167–68), but she falls in love for Lorenzo, one of her brothers ' employees. Lorenzo loves Isabella truly but her brothers do not like it. There is a feeling to exaggerate both their cruelty and his gentleness. They do not like that their sister should make such a low match then they murder Lorenzo and bury his body. His ghost informs Isabella in a dream.
Edward Kennedy Ellington was an American jazz musician, talented composer, and leader of many bands and orchestras. His career lasted over 50 years, where he composed thousands of pieces of music and joined numerous bands. Duke Ellington was always surrounded by music but when he joined a band and moved to New York, his career launched, beginning the start to his fame. He was said to be one of the greatest musicians during the Harlem Renaissance, and displayed that through the success of his music and bands. He experimented with all styles of music but the one that stuck and changed the course of music was jazz.

The play portrays the reality of a trascurring feud between two households, Montagues and Capulets, which resulted in tragic consequences for the main characters, Romeo and Juliet. The events contrast hate with love, forcing the young star-crossed lovers to grow up quickly and die tragically in despair. The theme of hate is shown through the transcurring feud of both households; the reason behind all six deaths in the play and the prohibition of the love of two star cross 'd lovers. Shakespeare does not reveal why the families hate each other, but one of the many possible reasons could be that the feud is so longstanding that the families themselves don 't know why it started.

While Romeo and Juliet physically committed the acts that ended there own lives, the long-stand family feuding and fate should be blamed for their deaths.
Romantic love focuses on the innocent and pure aspects of Romeo and Juliet as well as Friar Laurence. Anti-romantic love contrasts this love by focusing the more lustful and realistic nature of love which is expressed by Mercutio and the Nurse. The result is that the audience tries to answer the question of what love is. Friar Laurence is one of the characters who represents the ideals of romantic love. Although he believes the love Romeo and Juliet share, is young and changeable, he still believes love is spiritual and transformative power.
The Renaissance is commonly known as a period of rebirth. New ways of thinking and acting were rapidly evolving. It was a time of great challenges and discoveries for the individual. People could share ideas, objects, and skills in so many ways that changed the whole outlook of humanity. For a while, the church told the people what they wanted them to believe.
A Sicilian Romance A Sicilian Romance is a classical gothic novel set at the end of the sixteenth century. Its events take place in an ancient castle on the northern shore of Sicily. The castle was in the possession of the fifth marquis of Mazzini , an impetuous , tyrannical figure , who left the castle with his son after the [death] of his wife (Louisa) to live in Naples with his new young and beautiful wife Maria de Vellorno . He left his little daughters (Julia and Emilia) in the castle to be raised up by their mother’s sincere friend Madame de Menon.23
