Abstract
Databases are an effective tool for a retail business, to help meet its needs and objectives, as outlined in its business strategy and the values that are contained within a company mission statement.

These business rules lay the foundation for the database. As established above, there are six key areas of interest that the database will focus on. The organization determines these rules and are significant as they determine the connectivity between tables.
In this database, I propose some rules that will determine the structure.
• One need the database must have been that a customer name must have an ID (a card number of the Clubcard loyalty program). This identification must be entirely numerical and will consist of an integer of 18 digits.
• Another rule is that every customer will have a total amount and items associated with the customer ID.
• A store number must be in four-digit integer form and will be connected to a daily sales figure
• Item must have a point of origin and be connected to a destination, to monitor environmental impact and efficiency
• Forecasting, to provide sales targets based on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual periods.
Include a word table that showcases your entities, attributes for each (with data types), relationships and cardinally

We can conclude here that this reflects the organization's operations, and when the database is constructed to meet these needs, will facilitate the operation of the organization. This diagram shows this significance (Watt & Eng, 2014).
From the information planned in the previous table we can now visually represent the relationship between the data. As we can appreciate here the customer is central to the database structure, as the customer, and sales data is what drives the organization. We could also argue here that this is a direct reflection of the organization and how it operates. A fundamental aspect to consider when designing the database (Darwin, 2014).
Another central part of this is location as it be used to determine sales performance on items, to further enhance to efficiency and profitability of the retail business in question. As we can see from the diagram the structure, is defined through the primary and foreign keys that are visually determined in the diagram
