Earlier this week, my friend Banquo and I were on our way to meet King Duncan, the King of Scotland. In our journey, we came across 3 odd women who appeared to be witches. We didn’t know what they were doing, so we approached them. The witches hailed me as thane of Glamis and as thane of Cawdor. I was confused about what they were saying. The witches also told me that I will be king one day. Flustered by this, I told the witches to tell me for more information, but they quickly vanished into thin air. We shortly met with the king moments after, and I was announced thane of Cawdor like the witches said. It was an astonishing feeling. It was only a matter of time until I was going to be king. King Duncan wanted to celebrate this successful promotion by having a dinner at my place. It was offer I couldn’t resist, so I accepted. As my wife, Lady Macbeth, was setting up dinner at our castle, I knew it was going to be a great day. The King of Scotland was visiting for a celebratory banquet; and my wife and I were setting off for a night of a new beginning. I felt a bit anxious and flustered.
