acklin has many moments where he is absolutely delightful, helpful and engaged in his learning however there continue to be moments where Macklin; unfortunately does not see himself as a learner. Macklin needs constant reassurance and attention in the classroom. He has however made many social advances this year which has been pleasing. He is much more willing to work with others whom he finds challenging.
Macklin's complex needs in the school environment make it difficult to gain an accurate assessment of where he is really at. His steadfast refusal to complete or participate in tasks that he deems as uninteresting or that he thinks is an assessment has hindered his results despite the creative way in which they are pitched.
