In life there are two types of people the hunted, and the hunters. The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell clearly expresses that. As it is a short story filled with adventure. General Zaroff is a man who captures people and brings them to their island. He then haves them hide till sundown. He then will hunt them and if they can get back to his house they win. Zaroff was undefeated until Rainsford came to his island. Rainsford was on his way to South America when he got knocked off of his boat. His crew didn’t realise he had fallen off so he swam to Zaroff’s island. After all he ends up beating Zaroff in his own game and becomes the greatest hunter. The author’s message in this short story violence can become normalized if allowed to run
