In the previous memo I had discuss some of the opportunities and trends the company is facing, also I suggest some of the benefits of revising the company’s structure and modifying some of the negative effects by implementing new techniques to increase profitability as well as, customer satisfaction. In recent years the company has faced some shift on the consumer’s preferences. Macy’s role on its environment and ecosystems goes hand on hand with the company’s’ ethical standards. By analyzing the Macy’s brand, I found that the company emphasize its operations on keeping the brand as the nation’s premier retailer with a 2015 fiscal year of over $30 billion Macy’s had proven to be in top of the game. On theater one; The company focused on the philanthropy side where the organization by gets involve on employee volunteering, engagement with the community, and donations. The second theater involved improvement of operational effectiveness, and the third theater involved transforming the business model. From these three theaters I believe Macy’s is more related towards the philanthropy side, and a solution to this I believe is to appoint an executive to work towards the company objectives to enhance its CSR where Macy’s can move from theater one to eventually be part of the operational effectiveness part of these research. Lastly, by researching some of the statistics online my findings about Macy’s management and the expectations of same management are in a significant risk of uncertainties. Based on actual results of over 11 thousand reviews from employees on sites like Indeed.com and others the biggest issue was management. The success of a company in this particular case of every store relies on its managers.
