The choosing of majors can be difficult along with trying to understand what goes on your freshman year. You are on your own for the first time which can provide some difficult choices. These choices can have a positive or negative effect on your life. It can also be difficult choosing your major which will help direct your future. It is hard to tell what major will have a better effect in today's economic situation and your personal success. Choosing what is right will be a difficult decision which can show the negative effects of a college system and the majors that are most appealing to the paper.

This will help provide a better understanding of how this country works and how I can have a more stable income, and make better decisions when getting into the real world. Getting a job in the workplace for political science seems very interesting and ever changing. The best thing about the political science major, is that it leads in in many paths and it can provide many different jobs like political analyst, government worker, etc. It provides a good understanding of everybody on how this world works and the learning process will help me understand how to get things accomplished. “An introduction to the methods of political analysis, standard nomenclature, and basic research methods.” (Norwich university) It is saying that it has an understanding proper research that goes into the major and how it can help a basic understanding of the subject material. It also has research as a key importance to show that the research in this field goes a long way. It also shows how a political analyst will help the research, why is it so important. It is interesting to note, “college freshmen view politics as less significant than other financial, social and personal goals, which is probably the reason why there has been a steady decline in the number of freshmen intending to take up political science as a major course of study.” …show more content…

The political science can be strictly based of of how the state of the country runs and can give you a better stance of debating and using your words in a more correct and proper manner. The classes are less mathematical and more strictly language and research which can be lacking of sometimes. You will have to take free time to study for debating and mesmerizing important facts for future classes. This will also give you a understanding for both sides of the parties and produce a more aggressive but intelligent response and keep you up to date to more current events and how to respond to them more properly. This will also teach a more productive and sustainable work ethic and how to improve your day to day responsisses to
