One of the major themes in The Hunger Games is sacrifice and giving pretty much everything you have up. I described from Katniss’s perspective just how much people gave up or risked throughout the book. She almost gave up her life for her sister, she gave up her privacy because she “loved” Peeta, and she even risked being caught by the Capital before the Games. She risked everything for survival for her and her family. Some of the main characters in the book where Katniss, Peeta, Haymitch, Rue for a point, Gale, and her sister, Primrose. I used Katniss as my main focus, as she made gave the most up as the book went on.
