The lie, that manipulated 22 million people to think they were walking on the right side of the road.
It wasn’t small like thinking fools gold is real gold or the tooth fairy not existing. It was one of the worst out of all of them. 22 million blacks being deceived by the light colored king. On April 3, 1964, Malcom X came to free the blacks from not slavery, but segregation with his speech: The ballot or the bullet. During his speech, he used Realism to expose the lie, ethos to fix the lie and his own perspective to support his speech altogether.

In the first part of Malcom’s speech, he had a very weak hook making the audience very bored. He started off stating religion and how the audience needs to be together. He didn’t explain what the Ballot or the Bullet meant because it would lose more meaning if he said it out out front. He later brings up his realism and discussed how blacks are just opening their eyes and see the beginning of everything. He later transition into his main point. Black votes are completely useless.

He uses his best case in realism by saying “lt. was the black man's vote that put the present administration in Washington, D.C. Your vote, your dumb vote, your ignorant vote, your wasted vote put in an administration in Washington, D.C., …show more content…

Using Uncle Sam as a comparison to earn civil rights. Using his perspective, he made opinions that not only expressed what he wanted to say, but every single black person in America. Using wars to make broad statements, putting his perspective, and finally, telling all men, no matter their race, skin color, ethnicity, or education all deserve equal rights and African Americans will do whatever it takes, to earn their own rights.
