Scientist think that professional athletes should have to take mandatory drug test. Ken Caminiti told Sports Illustrated that “He estimates that half the players in the big leagues were also using steroids and admits that he also used cocaine”.(“Performance-Enhancing Drug Testing Is Ineffective.”) Athletes should try and stay healthy instead of ruining their life by using cocaine. They should push themselves instead of using enhancing drugs to get better. Why take the risk of ending their career when using cocaine. Athletes should take mandatory drug test so they will stop using enhancing drugs to take the easy way to get better and have to suffer all the side effects.
