There are many theories as to how Marilyn Monroe left this world. Some say it was suicide/drug overdose, others say it was an accidental death. But one of the theories most spoken about is that she was murdered. Marilyn had an affair with the 35th president, John F. Kennedy. It is believed that when this was happening, she talked a lot about the white house and what went on inside, so people associated with Kennedy wether it be inside or outside of the white house killed her because she knew too much. So I am going to talk about this conspiracy and the information on it. Marilyn Monroe was a model, singer, and actress who was a major icon in the 1950-60's, and even to this day. Sinatra introduced her to JFK and his brother, Robert (Kennedy). Later on, she developed a close relationship with both of these brothers (Kennedy). It was also said that Marilyn had an affair with both Robert and JFK (Kennedy). But according to her friends, Marilyn's feelings were only towards JFK (Kennedy). The affair was said to have begun when JFK would visit Marilyn at home or go see her at the Lawford home (Kennedy). She had hoped to become the first lady and replace Jackie as his wife (Jackie). Her friend, Jeanne Carmen explained that Marilyn was set on the idea that JFK would leave his wife for her, but she also mentioned that these ideas might have been brought on because of her emotional problems and her alcohol and drug intake (Jackie). Peter Lawford mentioned later on that when Marilyn had made the phone call to Jackie, she had this idea that JFK would leave his entire family for her, as well (Jackie). Furious rumors of the affair began to circulate throughout the press. In her friends' words, they said that Marilyn felt as if her and Kennedy were drifting away and she felt it was her fault (Jackie). At this point, John was scared that he would be caught up in a scandal if he continued his relationship with Marilyn (Kennedy).
