Climate change is killing the marine biome faster than ever, have we waited too long or is there still hope? Find out now. Hello I am Dr. Mulvaney but you may call me Dylan, I am a climate change protester for the marine biome. Today I am going to talk about the effects of climate change, how they are affecting the marine biome and what we can do to try to stop climate change. To know how to stop something, we must first learn the problems. Here is one big problem, and evidence that this is because climate change. The ocean acidity has increased as have the amount of dead organisms died in the ocean because there wasn't enough air in the water. This has only been happening in the past 50-75 years because we have also increased the usage of …show more content…
was in the process of becoming an international powerhouse because they were building factories, railroads and buildings. But with these huge things, come a price you need pay. In this particular case the price America paid was Natural Resources. Because America was such a powerhouse they needed more things because more people were coming into the country. They didn’t have enough land for everybody so they cut down forests. This was the first major problem. As Gifford Pinchot said “settlers wanted land instead of trees!” This means that we had so many settlers, but not enough land we cut down forests so frequently which had been a source of power for so many. As our population increased we had more demand for natural resources. “As we industrialize and our population grows,we rely more on natural resources”. This stated by Theodore Roosevelt, he is trying to say the more people that come to this country the more natural resources we need and become dependant on. This ended up leading to the main problem. We were using so much natural resources that we had an exceptional life in the present, but our future generations won't have any. As Theodore Roosevelt said “there was a steady increase needed by the average man”. So you can observe there were lots problems caused by the usage of our natural resources. But there was a solution, if we try to conserve our natural resources we just may be able to save the marine
