Major topics in this course are Navigation, Conservation laws, Naval architecture, Ocean structures, Effects of waves, Project planning, Technical information sources, Ship geometry, Movement variables, and Towing and mooring.
In this course, candidates learn to about linear and non-linear waves, flow theories, and amplitude oscillations in relation to sources and shapes. They also introduced to methods for preparing, collecting, and presenting data through written reports that involve the analysis, planning, and evaluation of each marine engineering experiment.
