Martin Luther King, Jr once had said,” I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great of a burden to bear.” You can say that MLK is one of the best known advocates to use unconditional love and nonviolence instead of bloodshed to deal with a conflict, and be successful with the manner. During his days he was one of the most loved and hated men for the things he did for trying to reach equality, yet throughout his time of living it's obvious that he fought for human rights and balance. Even though some people say he caused to many problems, in that day of society, MLK’s work helped us to have what we have today. Which would be equality and balance between the races. Martin Luther King is a hero in our society because he had a legacy which was equality and nonviolence. There reasons were that he caused to many problems in our society. I will admit he did a lot of things that caused a lot of issues, but think about all the good he has done. King had got imprisoned for leading a freedom march, so MLK’s wife Called President Kennedy about her husband being in prison. Kennedy agreed to her that he’d look into the situation and the very next day King got out of jail. If Martin Luther King caused to many problems why would Kennedy help him? King also helped out many cities besides just his own. MLK did not just focus on himself he did what was good for everyone. The one thing King did not want was that for things to get violent, so what he said was,” Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” If there were problems in the society it was for the better good, because of what he did 53 years ago we now have peace between the races in the United
