“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles” (Christopher Reeve). When you think of a hero, you’re first thought might be of someone who is abnormally strong or smart and for most of the time, wearing a cape. Or you might be thinking of someone similar to Martin Luther King, whatever the case heroes don’t necessarily have to be like that. The thing about a hero is that they can be anyone, from a doctor to a fictional character. If they do something remarkable such as help save a person or give them hope, they are considered a hero.
