In spite of being reassigned, the harassment continued whenever Williamson and McLeod were in the same room. Two months later the supervisor reassigned Williams and McLeod to work together. Williamson objected to having to work with McLeod again and even requested to be transferred out of the Criminal Division because of the persistent problems with McLeod. It should be noted that Williamson never used the term sexual harassment to describe McLeod’s behavior during the complaint until after her reassignment with McLeod. The supervisor advised Williamson to write down her complaint and take it to the Internal Affairs Division which she did.

In the five years between 1803 and 1808, South Carolina alone imported 400,000 slaves (Jones, 2004). These were so many slaves that pushed slavery to other regions like Louisiana and Georgia. The Northern States were reluctant in fighting slave trade as they were more concerned about the new government and feared to be in conflicts with the south. Most of the states thought that slavery was a passing cloud and that it was bound to fail sooner. The invention of the cotton gin made the cash crop all the more lucrative.

2. Predicate Acts The De Sole and Howard Plaintiffs have alleged predicate acts of mail and wire fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1341 and 1343. In addition, Howard alleges false labeling of visual art, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2318, as a predicate act. Hammer argues, however, that Plaintiffs have not alleged that Hammer committed a predicate act and, in particular, have not alleged that "Hammer used the mail or the wires for the purpose of executing the alleged scheme."

Mercy seems to be very rare in today’s world, most people if they had the option to punish someone who has hurt them, would do it without thinking twice. Mary Johnson of Minneapolis, Minnesota however is different than most. In February 1993, Mrs Johnson's son, Laramiun Byrd, 20, was shot in the head by 16-year-old Israel after an argument at a party. Israel was involved with drugs and gangs, was tried as an adult and sentenced to 25 and a half years. He served 17 when Mrs. Johnson said she wanted to visit him in prison.

Mary Anne Warren is a well-known American philosopher who has influenced the argument of the controversial issue, abortion. Today, I will be supporting Warren’s belief and theory on abortion solely being the woman’s choice and will do so by refuting other theories and philosophers including; John T Noonan, Judith Thompson, and Don Marquis. John T. Noonan revolves his argument of abortion around the idea of conception. According to Noonan, abortion is morally wrong because a being comes into existence at the point of conception. Also, being conceived by human parents automatically classifies the fetus as a human as well.
In the Odyssey by Homer, numerous gods affect the plots of the stories. They play a key role in causing the adventure to happen, but they also help Odysseus find his way; however, many gods and creatures want to make him suffer. The stories are an account of all the scenarios that occur because of the gods. Some of the gods favor specific people throughout the multiple books; for example, Athena convinces Telemachus to try to find his father.
