Mary's Story: Moving Into The House

Ten years later Mary had a son, he is nine years old, and his name is Dalton. Once Mary had Dalton she decided it would be best to move from her old house. Mary wrote a journal about everything that happened that night after she killed her husband. She put the journal under a loose board in the floor before she moved houses. She now lives in the same neighborhood just in a different house. They have just received news that their house was sold and there will be new people moving into the house soon. What she didn’t know was that the family moving into the house was Patrick’s younger brother Jimmy and his family. Mary had surprisingly never known about Jimmy when they were married.
“This is really a lovely house!” said Jimmy’s wife, Jen. “Yes, but we will need to change some things, like the floors and the walls.” explained Jimmy. …show more content…

Once they were done they settled into bed and turned off the lights. “Why don’t we start tearing the floors today so we can paint the walls tomorrow.” Jen said with a settle toan. “Yes, that would be a great idea so we won’t get the paint on the new flooring. I will get the materials from the basement,” said Jimmy. Once Jimmy came back up from the basement he laid out all the supplies on the front lawn.
“I will start tearing out the boards!” Jen stated in a joyful voice.
Then they started to work on the house. Jen started tearing out the boards and Jimmy would take the boards outside and figure out how to line the new boards in. Once Jen was about halfway done with the living room Jen called out to Jim, “Jim, I have found something under the floorboard.” “What is it, I will be right in.”
“I, I don’t know!” Jen said in a curious voice. When Jimmy got into the house they opened the dusty booklet and started reading it. “Didn’t your brother live in this house before we moved here?” said
